In addition to these faculty members, NRBC regularly uses adjunct professors to teach classes, and conduct seminars, workshops and special training sessions.  NRBC only utilizes professors with the appropriate academic qualifications and experience who are committed to the mission, vision and philosophy of the College.

Bishop J. Phillip Betts is the founder and president of NRBC. In this role, he is responsible for providing leadership and setting the overall strategic directions of the college. Bishop Betts is also the founder and Senior Pastor of Cornerstone Christian Community Church in Oxford, NC where he oversees a dynamic and thriving church with over thirty (30) ministries. Cornerstone is a non-denominational, multi-ethnic ministry that provides relevant, biblical solutions which empowers people to live victoriously through Christ.

Bishop Betts is a very active and positive contributing member of his community. He serves on the Granville Educational Task Force and the Second Chance Program for Ex-Felons Task Force. He is also a member of the Board of Directors for Smart-Start and the Kerr Tar Regional Workforce Development.

Bishop Betts has an earned Bachelor Degree of Biblical Studies from Central Christian University of Wynne, Arkansas. An accomplished teacher and Bible Scholar with over 25 years in ministry, Bishop Betts is known for his ability to present complex bible prophecy with simplicity and clarity.

Pastor Janice Cooper has been in the ministry for over 20 years; serving in a pastoral role for ten of those years. She has served as pastor of United Temple A.M.E Zion in Birmingham, AL, Union Chapel A.M.E. Zion in Franklinton, NC and Spaulding Chapel A.M.E. Zion in Taylortown, NC. She has also served on the faculty at AME Zion Bible College in Birmingham, AL where she taught Church History.

Pastor Cooper received both her Bachelors and Masters in Biblical Studies from Andersonville Theological Seminary in Camilla, Georgia. She holds a Masters of Divinity from Hood Theological Seminary in Salisbury North Carolina. Also, she is currently pursuing her ThD. in Theology. 

In addition to her work in pastoral ministry, Pastor Cooper is Founder and President of Christ Is In Your Crisis Ministry, Inc. The twenty year old organization offers leadership training, referral services and mentoring programs to laypersons and individuals in the ministry.

Pastor Cooper has traveled extensively throughout the US teaching and preaching the word of God. Her greatest desire is to serve her generation by the will and purpose of God.

Dr. Ted Edmondson serves as Chancellor of Central Christian University in Wynne, Arkansas. He has traveled extensively in thirty-four years of fulltime ministry - teaching and preaching at Bible conferences, conventions and camp meetings across the nation and abroad.  He has served in executive offices on State, Regional and National levels, Senior Pastor of area churches and is President / CEO of The Ministry Centrex.  

Dr. Edmondson has earned a Doctor of Bible Philosophy and Doctor of Theology from International Bible Institute as well as a Doctor of Philosophy in Christian Counseling. Being a proponent of education he has been actively involved on several college boards and enthusiastically endorses computer technology that provides external studies, distance and continuing education for students of all ages.

Dr. Edmondson knows it will take a well balanced blend of education, training and preaching ministry to challenge this new era of ministers to reach a higher level of significance and faith.  His goal is to instill a deep and abiding sense of the Holy Spirit’s work of revelation, renewal, and revival in the world today.

Dr. Enoch E. Holloway is the pastor of Friendship Chapel Baptist Church in Wake Forest, North Carolina and has served there for more than 27 years. As a pastor he has been a mentor for many, especially for young ministers. He received a BA in Business Administration from Saint Augustine’s College in Raleigh, North Carolina; Masters of Divinity from Shaw University in Raleigh, North Carolina, and Doctor of Ministry from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, North Carolina.

Dr. Holloway has served as an instructor for the North Carolina State Government Executive Institute. Presently, he is an adjunct professor in the Department of Religion and Philosophy at Saint Augustine’s College where he teaches classes including Survey of Religions, Survey of Old and New Testaments and Homiletics.

He is well known for his outstanding community service which has resulted in many awards including the Light of Hope Award by the Wake County School Board and the Bill Hoggart Award for services to the HIV Aids community. Because of his passion for preaching, teaching and missions he has traveled extensively and shared his gifts in several countries in Africa.

Dr. Charles McDowell currently serves on the Board of Directors of Central Christian University. In addition, He is the organizer and founder of five Churches, one of which he is now the current Pastor; True Faith Ministries of Florence South Carolina. He is also the organizer, founder and presiding Prelate of the Rainbow Unity Christian fellowship of churches of Florence South Carolina; and, Co-Founder of the Christian Covenant Fellowship of Ministries in Marion, South Carolina. Dr. McDowell holds a Bachelor’s degree in Ministry from Shaw University in Raleigh, North Carolina; a Master’s of Ministry from Greensboro Bible College in Greensboro, NC; a Master’s of Biblical Studies from Logos Bible College in Ponte Vedra, FL; and, an earned Doctorate of Ministry from Central Christian University in Wynne, Arkansas.

Dr. Keith McGann serves as the International President of Central
Christian University located in Wynne, Arkansas. In this capacity, he travels extensively; overseeing the day-to-day operations of the international campuses, teaching, lecturing, and helping to prepare men and women for Christian ministry.

He has also served as senior pastor of a number of churches located throughout the United States.

Dr. McGann has earned degrees of Doctor of Ministry, Doctor in Theology, Doctor of Philosophy in Counseling and Theology, and Doctor of Philosophy in Christian Psychology. In addition, he is a Certified Behavioral Consultant and Certified Financial Independence Planning Specialist.

Dr. McGann is well respected in the academic community as an accomplished teacher and Bible Scholar. He is known for his ability to present complex biblical truths with simplicity and clarity.

Pastor Ben Ramsey is a noted lecturer, teacher and trainer. As a successful business owner, he has taught and trained leaders across practically every industry. As a minister of the gospel, he has taught the word of God to both church leaders and lay people across all denominations.

Pastor Ben is the Executive Director of Northeastern Regional Bible College (NRBC). In this role, he is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the College and serves as a member of the faculty. He also serves as assistant pastor of Cornerstone Christian Community Church under the pastoral-ship of Bishop J. Phillip and Teresa Betts. In addition, Pastor Ben is an adjunct professor in the School of Business at North Carolina Central University in Durham, NC. 

Pastor Ben holds a Masters in Public Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill; a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from North Carolina A&T State University; and, a certificate in Marriage Counseling from the Center of Biblical Counseling in Forest, Virginia. Pastor Ben has completed the Kaiser Permanente’s Executive Management Program through Stanford University at Stanford, California. He has also completed course work toward a Masters of Arts in Ministry from Central Christian University in Wynne, Arkansas.
